‘Big Play’ Reggie Gray has had one of the most illustrious careers in Arena Football League history. He ranks in the top 20 in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns and his 162 catches in 2015 are the seventh-most in a single season.
With the expansion team Baltimore Brigade, Gray was expected to be the top playmaker while they usher in a quarterback new to the AFL.
During Baltimore’s week four matchup against the Philadelphia Soul, Gray was forced to leave the game with an apparent injury. He has yet to return, and now a post by Gray himself on Twitter/Instragram is leaving many wondering just exactly what happened.
The picture was of his jersey hanging in his locker. The rest of the message said “Enjoyed my career. Thank you to my fans.”
No further update has been given, but it certainly doesn’t sound good for Gray.
UPDATE: Gray replied on Twitter stating that it is his collarbone that he injured during the game.
